Who it is for and how to practise
The largest classic grid: 7×7 with numbers 1 to 49. It is the advanced variant - after mastering 6×6 - and the format used by speed-reading trainees and operators for whom a wide, stable field of view matters.
On 7×7 a typical starting time is 1.5-2 minutes, and that is no cause for concern. Hold the sheet a little further than usual, about 40 cm, so the whole grid fits in your field of view without moving your head. Three or four tables per session are plenty - at this size attention fatigue arrives sooner.
