Printable 4×4 Schulte table (PDF) - kids and beginners
PDF · 10 tables · A4
The 4×4 variant with numbers 1 to 16 - a good step between the kids board and the classic 5×5, also popular with seniors. A set of 10 tables, two per page.
Who it is for and how to practise
The 4×4 format with numbers 1 to 16 bridges the children's 3×3 grid and the adult standard. It suits children aged 7-8, adults warming up before 5×5, and anyone learning to keep their gaze on the center - the corners are closer to the middle here, so peripheral vision has an easier job.
An adult should get below 20 seconds; a seven-year-old usually needs 40-60 seconds, and that is fine. Two tables per A4 page, five pages in the set - enough for a week of daily sessions. Compare only your own times from day to day.
